    • Why do I need to verify my account?

      As a fully regulated and licensed financial company, we are at all times obligated and dedicated to complying with all laws and regulations. We are therefore required to “know our clients” and to be able to verify them.
      Rest assured, your personal details are always kept fully confidential as per our Terms and Conditions and in full compliance with GDPR laws and regulations.
    • Why do I need to send you / upload my personal documents?

      As a fully regulated and licensed financial company, we are at all times obligated and dedicated to complying with all laws and regulations. We are therefore required to know our clients and to verify them.

      Part of the verification process may require you to upload your identification documents, such as “proof of identity” or “proof of residency”, so we can verify you and be able to provide you with the highest standard of trading possible.

      These are only used for regulatory/compliance purposes.

    • What is a Utility Bill/proof of address?

      Proof of Address is a document that contains details (proof) of your full residential address.

      As a fully regulated and licensed financial company, we are at all times obligated and dedicated to complying with all laws and regulations. We are therefore required to know our clients and to verify them by confirming where they reside.

      A Utility Bill can be an electricity, water, or gas bill and needs to contain the following information:

      *Date (up to 6 months old)

      *Full name (that matches the account name)

      *Full residential address

      *The issuing authority with logo and stamp (if relevant).

       

  • My KLIPS Account

    • I forgot my password/ how to reset my password?

      First, if you are logged into your account, you will need to log out by going to the right side of the Klips platform, clicking on your initials and pressing the option “Log Out”. (skip this step if you are not logged in).

      You will be redirected to the Login page after that. Press the “Forgot Password” button > enter your email associated with your Klips Account >  go to your email > follow the link and steps to reset your password.

    • How do I open an account?

      To open an account with Klips, go to our website klips.com and follow the below steps:

      1. Click on “Open an account” on the home page.
      2. Fill in the details with your email address and a password you wish and select “Start Trading”.
      3. Fill in the mandatory personal details on the registration form.
      4. Submit the required documents to verify your account.
      5. Once you get verified, you may make your first deposit.
      6. you are now ready to start the trading experience.

       

    • Can I open more than one klips account?

      Each user can only hold one Klips Account.

    • How do I start trading with Klips?

      To be able to start trading, first, you will need to create a Klips Account, and you will need to verify your account fully.

      Once your account is verified and may initiate a Deposit and start trading or start experiencing trading on the “Demo Trading Platform”.

       

    • What is a demo account?

      A demo account is a way to practice trading without risking any of your own money, as you’ll be using virtual funds. It offers exactly the same tools and features as a live trading account, and you’ll be trading under real-market conditions.
    • Can I switch between a demo account and a real account?

      Yes. You can easily open a demo account first to have the opportunity to see how trading works and change it after into a real trading account.

      Once you have switched to the real Klips account, you will no longer have the option to go back to the Demo Account.

       

    • What are the risks in trading?

      Trading Derivatives or Leveraged Products requires skills, knowledge and understanding of relevant risks and is not suitable for everyone; Leveraged trading activity involves substantial risk of losing invested funds within a short period.

    • Do I need to close my trades to make a withdrawal?

      As long as the available margin of your trading account is higher than the withdrawal request amount you do not need to close your trades.

    • How do I make a deposit in my account?

      Yes. You can deposit fiat funds to your Klips account using a credit card. You may also choose another method of depositing from the available payment methods listed after you press the “Deposit” button.

       

    • Can I make a wire transfer to make a deposit?

      Yes. You can use a wire to deposit to your Klips Account. You may also choose another method of depositing from the available payment methods listed after you press the “Deposit” button.

  • Fees

    • What are overnight fees?

      An overnight fee is a fee to keep a position open overnight.
      The overnight fees are applied automatically every day and you can find more information when you click on the instrument under “Asset information”.
    • What are weekend fees?

      If you leave any open trades over the weekend, you will be charged the overnight swap fee 3 times, from Friday to Monday.
    • My account has been deducted X amount, why?

      Please check your “Funds History” under Funds on the left side of the platform, to see all the details about your funds(deposits, withdrawals, commissions, fees, etc.)
